Mission
Our mission is to provide our customers with a superior standard of anchovy caught and packaged in the most sustainable and efficient manner available. Ensuring that Anchor Management Ltd. gives back to the community is integral to our mission. This is achieved by empowering previously disadvantaged groups in international waters as well as on home shores. We strive to work solely with industries, partners and wholesalers that share our vision and sustainable practices.
Organisational Overview
Anchor Management Ltd. was incorporated in January of 2020 in Cape Town, South Africa. We are an emergent commercial fishing and processing company in the process of becoming a JSE listed company. Although our operations are currently in the start up phases our prospects of growth are based on an environmentally friendly and sustainable core business model.

Our core business is the commercial fishing of anchovy in the ocean of Aquawaves, off the West Coast of South Africa, as well as the processing of the anchovy in our warehouses located near the Cape Town harbor. Anchor Management Ltd. aims to build an impeccable brand image and a reputation of high quality canned and bottled anchovy. Our products are available internationally through our wholesalers located in Turin, Italy and Hubei, China.

Our anchovy are 100% organic and and caught in the open ocean. To ensure that we have a continuous supply of anchovy throughout the seasons we operate along four main fishing roots in the oceans of Aquawaves. The operation of the four fishing roots enables us to ensure that the we do not over fish certain channels and it allows for the continuous existence of a happy and healthy eco-system. Furthermore, we have partnered with the World Wild Life Fund (WWF) , South African Sustainable Seafood Initiative (SASSI) and the Marine Stewardship Council. Moreover, we are a proud founding member of the Aquawaves Marine Stewardship Council (AMSC), established to promote an industry wide standard of sustainable practices. These partnerships are used to enforce our commitment to sustainable fishing and help develop a more sustainable and efficient fishing culture internationally.
Value Proposition
Our products exceed expectations and provide value for money. There’s plenty of fish in the sea, but fishing is an art that we have mastered. The freshness is tasted in each anchovy and our hard work is present on every can and jar for your satisfaction.
